Parc Vallès has started a new stage
The new park image was presented at the inauguration, in addition to new shop openings
The Parc Vallès opening ceremony took place this morning at the park. The Pradera investment fund, which specialises in shopping malls and large entertainment centres, has invested a total of 8.2 million euros in renovating the park. The chairperson of Pradera, Alfonso Brunet, underlined the “dizzying transformation in record time" that Parc Vallès has experienced in recent months.
Chairperson of Patronal Cecot, Antoni Abad, was also in attendance. He thanked Pradera for the trust it has placed in the city of Terrassa through this investment. With regard to the social and employment opportunities the new park represents, he emphasised “if we don’t live to serve, we aren’t much good at living”.
The final speaker was Miquel Sàmper, Councillor for Economic Development, Industry and Occupation, who sought to highlight the creation of 800 jobs at the park in the coming months as an opportunity for the municipality of Terrassa and the entire Vallès Occidental region.
Attendees also had the chance to discover all the new establishments at Parc Vallès first hand, through the guided tour that took place after the opening ceremony. The day closed with lunch and entertainment.
