Parc Vallès hosts the V Solidarity Race for the Childhood
About a thousand runners have participated in the event
Parc Vallès was once again the main stage of the V Solidarity Race for Children. This is the traditional annual event organized by INSOC-CEG (Sociocultural Initiatives - Guadalhorce Recreation Center) with a clear objective: to obtain funds for the fight against child and youth poverty. That is why each participant, at the time of registration, must pay an amount-depending on the moment in which the registration is made-of between eight and twelve euros, which are used entirely for this purpose.
This year, the number of participants has been around one thousand. As always, the race has had two modalities. On the one hand, the popular race (5km away), and on the other, the children's races. Parc Vallès has been the point of departure and arrival of the runners, as well as the stage of the delivery of the prizes. In this sense, the participants have also enjoyed a small snack at the end of the race. Everything you need to recover your strength!
One more year we are proud to see how the city of Terrassa continues betting on solidarity and social change. It is fantastic to see how the race grows year after year, and Parc Vallès accompanies him in his career. Next year we hope to break all the records and turn this event into the most multitudinous in the city. Thank you to all the participants and volunteers that make it possible!
