Parc Vallès obtains Biosphere certification

With great satisfaction we share the news of obtaining the Biosphere certification .

On last Wednesday March 13, Ignasi Giménez Renom, president of the Regional Council of Vallès Occidental, and Josep Forn i Cadafalch, councilor for social economy, innovation, universities and transfer of knowledge and tourism of the Terrassa City Council, presented this certification, in recognition of Parc Vallès firm commitment to environmental sustainability and the preservation of the natural environment.

Biosphere is an international badge that recognizes organizations, companies and tourist destinations that adopt sustainable and responsible practices with the environment, society and the local economy. This certification guarantees that the operations and activities are aligned with the objectives of sustainable development, guaranteeing the conservation of natural resources, the protection of biodiversity and the reduction of environmental impact.
