The Solidarity Race for Children returns to Parc Vallès
The event has celebrated its sixth edition
Once again, Parc Vallès has been the main stage of one of the biggest sporting events in the city. The Solidarity Race for Children has celebrated its sixth edition by re-establishing Parc Vallès as the departure and arrival point of the route. Likewise, as tradition has already marked, the park has also been the scene of the awards ceremony.
The race has had two routes: on the one hand, the children's race, and on the other that of 5km directed to the adult public and professionals of this discipline. This year, nearly 800 people participated, to which we must also add a large team of volunteers who have collaborated in the proper development of the race.
It should be remembered that the Solidarity Race for Children is a socio-organized activity by INSOC-CEG (Socio-Cultural Initiatives - Guadalhorce Recreation Center) in order to raise funds to fight against child and youth poverty, doing social work for the community. From Parc Vallès we are very proud to be part of this project and we hope to continue doing so in the coming years.
