New appointment with the Distrobada, this year we celebrate the 18th edition

Parc Vallès collaborates in this new edition and promotes the offer of adapted and inclusive leisure

The Coordinadora Capaç has organized for this Sunday, June 2, a new edition of the Distrobada, a fun event, but also vindictive, for the organizations and relatives of people with intellectual disabilities. The meeting in Terrassa is now in its 18th edition.

It has been exactly 18 years since the Coordinadora Capaç was established, founded by the associations of family members of students (AFA) of the four special education schools in Terrassa and by family members of adults with intellectual disabilities who are users of centers occupational and workshops such as LaFact, Prodis or the La Pineda Day Centre.

"Our goal is to defend the rights of our children", emphasizes the coordinator.

In this edition, emphasis has been placed on the beginning of development of the Accessibility Improvement Plan for children's play areas, approved unanimously by the municipal council. Promoting the creation of family respite services, improvements in access to Parc Vallès, and improvements in physical and cognitive accessibility.
